Course Summary
The jQuery JavaScript library enhances the visitor experience on your webpages, helping you make your content dynamic and interactive. C2's jQuery series is for web designers and developers who have a good grasp of HTML and CSS but have no programming or JavaScript experience. Using the jQuery JavaScript library students will learn how to create the most popular interactive elements for webpages: lightboxes, overlays, slideshows, animations, tooltips, menus and scrollers. We also learn to enhance forms and bring in dynamic content to a page via Ajax.

Audience
This is a beginners programming class aimed at web designers who are comfortable with HTML and CSS but have no or little experience with javascript but want to add advanced, custom interactive features to their websites. Please check out our Dynamic Websites with jQuery Plug-ins class if you just want to be able to install some standard interactive features with almost no programming.

Setting and reading CSS properties, animating elements
