Adobe Edge ushers in a new age of animation for the web that uses standard HTML5, CSS and JavaScript to create animations that do not require a plugin. Edge allows complex, interactive animations to be created in a designer-friendly environment without requiring coding skills, then exported to a web and mobile friendly format. This class will cover all the animation and interactive features currently available in Adobe Edge public beta 3.

Adobe Edge is beta software and is undergoing constant changes. This class outline is based on the Adobe Edge public beta 3, released on October 3rd, 2011. Adobe Edge currently supports only very basic interactivity - don't expect the same capabilities as say, Adobe Flash.
