Course Summary
The second level of Premiere delves into the sexier side of the program: effects, titles, and transitions. In this course the student learns to apply and modify all of these elements, and learn effective ways of adding them to their timelines. In this class we also delve more into explanation of all of the tools and the menu system.

Audience
Professionals who want to learn how to edit video, understand broadcast video terminology, compression techniques and resolution. Knowledge of Macintosh or Windows operating systems is required.

Day 1:
Adding Video Transitions, Using transitions with restraint, Trying some transitions, Changing parameters in the Effect Controls panel, Using the A/B mode to fine-tune a transition, Creating Dynamic Titles, Strengthen your project with supers, Changing text parameters, Building text from scratch, Putting text on a path, Creating shapes, Making text roll and crawl, Deconstructing effects: Sheens, Strokes, Shadows & Fill
Day 2:
Applying Specialized Editing Tools, Using five timesaving editing tools, Adding a TV news-style cutaway, Using graphics with two transitions, Switching a four-camera production, Adding Video Effects, Sampling some basic video effects, Manipulating keyframes and effect parameters & Adding keyframe interpolation and velocity
