Premiere Full Series Training Course
The Adobe Premiere series covers the basics of video editing in Premiere from the initial steps of dragging and dropping, to advanced use of effects, compositing, and double edit-point editing. The goal of the series is to teach the student all of the functions of the program that would be realistically used in a production environment. Each class builds upon the last while all also being self-contained. Even after the first class, the student should be able to edit a completed piece. By the final class, the student should be confident, efficient, and ready to edit even the more advanced editing pieces that may be thrown at them.
Premiere Series Level 1 Training Course
The first level of Premiere is to designed to give a student the basic tools necessary to navigate through Premiere from start to finish. They learn to import and capture files, assemble a basic timeline edit, and export a working digital file. The class also previews some of the more advanced parts of Premiere, like effects, titles, and transitions.
Premiere Series Level 2 Training Course
The second level of Premiere delves into the sexier side of the program: effects, titles, and transitions. In this course the student learns to apply and modify all of these elements, and learn effective ways of adding them to their timelines. In this class we also delve more into explanation of all of the tools and the menu system.
Premiere Series Level 3 Training Course
The third level of Premiere deals with audio and compositing. While often thought of as “video” editing, Premiere is a video AND audio editor. In this class, we use some of the audio effects and work with trimming audio and analyzing the waveforms. We also learn some basic keyframing, chroma keying, and compositing of video to create complex images without leaving the Premiere software.
Premiere Series Level 4 Training Course
The fourth level of Premiere is primarily geared to get you ready for efficient use of the program. Time-saving techniques, archiving strategies and other software integration is discussed and weighed. This level also goes into more advanced trimming strategies and additional export options. A must-take class for the Premiere user that wants to get to the next level.
Premiere Series Level 5 Training Course
Workshop: Bring in your own files or work on our demo project. Level 5 is available only as part of the Training Series, not as an individual level. Workshops do not qualify for our re-take policy.
