InDesign Training Schedule

Learn to create rich interactive experiences for the iPad and other tablet devices using Adobe InDesign and the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. We begin by converting your existing design into a proper format for digital publishing. Next we add interactive elements like slideshows, audio/video, panoramic images and more. Lastly we export everything onto your tablet for testing before reviewing how to publish to the App Store/Marketplace.

Learn to use InDesign to create a basic ePub for reading on Apple iBook, Kindle, Nook and other mobile readers. You will learn how to layout, format and add images to your ePub layout, then export and test using Adobe's Digital Editions software. We will also explore basic CSS editing to add features to your ePub after exporting from InDesign.

InDesign CS5's new interactive features now allow designers to create an interactive layouts without needing to learn any code. In this class we will create the following types of documents: Interactive layouts, presentations and portfolios. Some of the topics covered include: video/audio, hyperlinks, buttons and page transitions.

This 5 week series examines all the features of Adobe InDesign. Learners will build a variety of projects in each level, with an in-depth project and workshop in the last level.

We begin by covering the basics of Adobe InDesign. This course is a must for the beginning user of this application. Learn the basics of type, graphics, color and layout.

Continue to advance your knowledge of InDesign while digger deeper in the more advanced aspects of typography and image control.

Learn to creating vector artwork, master pages, and tables as we as begin to setup larger documents.

We continue the series with many advanced features including transparency, exporting documents, and long-document formatting.

Workshop: Bring in your own files or work on our demo project. Level 5 is available only as part of the Training Series, not as an individual level. Workshops do not qualify for our re-take policy.
