Illustrator Training Schedule

This series covers Adobe Illustrator from the basics of the pen tool to the new version’s additions. This course is a must for anyone working with logos, vector artwork, or complex type manipulation.

Illustrator Level 1 covers the basics of Adobe Illustrator. Tools, workspaces and introductions to basic shapes are covered. The lessons and tool usage learned in this level are the foundations for the rest of the Illustrator Series.

Illustrator Level 2 continues to advance your knowledge of Illustrator. Lessons include using type, working with layers, color usage and gradients, and appearance attributes.

Illustrator Level 3 features the more advanced elements of Adobe Illustrator including blending, appearances, graphic styles, effects, filters, brushes and symbol usage.

Illustrator Level 4 is a critical level for users in a production workflow environment. This level covers proper file preflight for printing and creating a document that will seemlessly transition to the web. Subjects also covered include how to combine Illustrator with other programs in the Adobe Creative Suite and creating 3-D images.

Professionals who want to learn how to use illustrator to create logos, illustrations and produce vector artwork ranging from simple to complex. Knowledge of Macintosh or Windows operating systems is required.
