Great presentation! Jim's insights into the evolution of HTML/CSS provided a helpful context for understanding the latest advancements of HTML5, and he succeeded in providing a solid overview with just enough detail to be substantial. The links/bookmarks were also much appreciated. Dennis Koller's opening presentation complemented Jim's by adding the perspective of a local interactive agency (and how they're approaching implementing the new technologies and features).
Great way to keep up with the latest web techniques rather than teaching yourself through random tutorials. The instructor singled out what we really needed to learn and taught us in a clear and effective manner while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and casual. Would definitely do it again or recommend it to anyone looking to boost their creative juices.
