Course Summary
The first level of Adobe After Effects is all about getting comfortable in the basic environment of After Effects. A quick tour of the interface is followed by some basic creation exercises. By the end of the class the students should all be comfortable keyframing basic animation in After Effects.

Audience
Video professionals who want to learn to enhance video and create special effects. Previous knowledge of video is required. Previous experience with Photoshop and/or Illustrator is recommended. Knowledge of PC or Mac OS required.

Day 1:
Getting to Know the Workflow, Working with Resolution, Getting to Know the Work Area, Setting Up Your Project, Importing Footage, Modifying Properties, Working with Text & Creating Shapes
Day 2:
Basic Animation, Keyframing Overview, Modifying Properties Over Time & Using Preset Animation
