C2 client seeks a copywriter with automotive or technical writing experience to craft customer friendly descriptions for GM 2013 model year vehicles, about 1000 of them.
Writer will research, review brochures & spec sheets to gain an understanding of feature benefits, then composing a 1500 word description. In addition to research materials, a style guide will provide support, as will the experience of the assigned proof readers.
Workflow: Writer submits descriptions to proof reader, who submits approved descriptions to account reps, who send to GM Product Managers and finally copy is submitted to legal.
To manage that workflow, the client uses an online tool to upload descriptions. Client prefers writers who use a PC, as the online tool is more compatible with the PC than the Mac. The gig is BYOC (bring your own computer).
The work will start in spring, April-ish. Bulk of work will be upfront, but there may be a steady stream and/or trickle of descriptions that will continue week to week. Work is on-site with the client until writer is confident and comfortable with the workflow and materials.

A C2 client has created several highly used desktop applications for a client using Adobe Flash Builder under the older Flex 3.5 format. These are flash-based programs that are not compatible with iPads, something the client has been expanding its use of since these apps were developed. This is an excerpt from an Adobe Flash Newsletter – “One of the most exciting capabilities of Adobe® Flash® Builder® 4.5 and Flex 4.5 software is the ability to create apps for the iPad, iPhone, Android devices and BlackBerry PlayBook using a single codebase.”
There are significant differences in the updated Adobe Flash Builder development platforms and our client does not have time to make that leap.
C2 seeks an Adobe Flash Builder developer that could convert a Flex 3.5 application to one that would run on the iPad? (There is no live data involved.)
