This hands-on course introduces students to the primary feature set and basic interface of Final Cut Pro. In this course you learn to perform basic editing functions while familiarizing yourself with the user interface. Topics include basic setup, adjusting and customizing preferences and settings, various editing and trimming techniques, audio editing, finishing and final output. Learn how to create polished transitions, fix screen direction errors, work with nested sequences, create fantastic effects, use filters creatively, color-correct your video, and composite like a pro. |

Professionals who want to learn how to edit video, understand broadcast video terminology, compression techniques and resolution. Knowledge of Macintosh operating system is required. Basic knowledge of video concepts is highly recommended. |
