   Hi Misti,

   Everything is lecture format where you can just take notes and absorb the information. On the expo floor, there are more demonstrations and opportunities for you to take shots using your camera or try out their equipment. I myself take my laptop and equipment and keep it in my room. Then I can download my images at night. The one thing you don’t want to do is overload yourself with a lot of equipment. Even with just a laptop and camera bag, it can get heavy after all day lugging it around.

   Thanks Kevin, for these awesome tips! As a first time attendee, I really appreciate the work you put into gathering all of these tips together. You touched on this a little in your PDF, but I was wondering if the classes will be taught lecture-style where a notebook and pen would do just fine for notes, or will there be demonstrations I’ll need my laptop and some camera gear for?
