InDesign Tip: Initial view in PDFs

When a client looks at your work as a PDF, you really want them to focus on the content and not worry about anything else. Unfortunately when you export a PDF from InDesign the PDF can appear quite large on screen. This means that the client has to zoom out to see your work. InDesign CS5 has a new export called "interactive PDF" which lets you choose the initial view for the viewer of the PDF. I recommend that you choose "fit page" which will scale the PDF to the screen size of whatever they are using. Click here to learn more about creating interactive PDFs.
